Challenging students to think critically

Session Description: In this session, teachers will share and discuss their use and application of Nearpod. Furthermore, teachers will discuss how they are using Nearpod to challenge students to think critically. This session is intended for teachers who are currently using Nearpod in their class.

Session Description: The goal of this session is to equip teachers with an effective framework for orchestrating breakout rooms in Google Meet, from organizing students into groups, communicating high and clear expectations, preparing effective assignments for breakout groups, providing resources for students, monitoring student progress, and timing.

KAMI

Session Description:
If you are looking for a great pdf editor, look no more. In this session, we will explore the benefits the KAMI software uses to help our students in a distance learning environment. Kami is not only a pdf editor but a valuable tool to also help our IEP students who may be having tremendous trouble tackling reading and writing in this virtual space. There are also many other features which will make our instructions more understandable that many other editors wish they included. So, if any of this interest you, come on in and lets explore Kami together. 

SCREENCASTIFY

Facilitator: Self-facilitated

Session Description: In this self-facilitated session you will learn the basics of using Screencastify. Topics covered include learning how to use Screencastify Record, how to create videos for students, how to have students create videos, how to use videos to connect with colleagues, and how to create videos for parents.
