Logistics for the Day

IMPORTANT NOTES:
Please be mindful that Maclay Middle School will be in session with students that day.
Bring your school issued laptop charged and ready for the day.
Street parking is available on Gain and Borden. Make sure to pay attention to all street signs.
Breakfast is on your own. Coffee will be provided.
The opening session will take place in the Multipurpose Room and start promptly at 8am.
Lunch will be provided. We will be having enchiladas, fajitas, rice, beans, chips and salsa from La Sirenita.
Raffle tickets for the closing raffle will be distributed during sessions and by playing YPICS Game On!
A tradition at BCCHS is that every Monday students wear a college shirt and blue jeans. We would like to continue this tradition and invite everyone to wear college gear on Monday. We will be taking a picture as a YPICS staff at the end of the day that we can post on our school websites.

Parking at BCCHS
Street parking is available on Gain and Borden. On Monday there should be no parking restrictions but make sure to double check all street signs when you park.
Adult REstrooms
Adult restrooms are located in the main office, in room13, and since there will be no students on campus you may also use the student bathrooms.
YPICS Game On!
Play
YPICS Game On! is a gamified professional development system ran through Alludo. The game is designed to provide a fun activity where you can earn rewards for completing several tasks throughout the day. All of the activities require you to provide evidence. This shows that the activity has been completed. If you have provided all of the necessary evidence correctly you will earn points. Points give you badges and badges get you rewards! If an activity is not done correctly, feedback will be provided so you can resubmit. You may resubmit your evidence until you are able to achieve mastery.

1. Before the PD read this quick article "Making Grades Fair, Accurate, Specific, and Timely"
2. Sign up for YPICS Game On! and complete the Pre-PD work mission. If you complete this mission you will earn the Pre PD Work Digital Badge and a Jeans Day on Wednesday 11/7.
